The development situation of plating industrial district at home, advantage of waste water intensive treatment, effect on promoting cleaner production and upgrading whole makings of industry are introduced. That government department should strengthen unite layout, policy support and guidance work on plating industrial district is put forward. The characteristics and function experience of part plating industrial districts are introduced.
